Building a Respectful and Safe Community Together
Katrinafinder exists to connect Western men with genuine Asian women for serious, meaningful relationships. Every member plays a role in keeping this community safe, respectful, and welcoming. These guidelines apply to all users regardless of membership status, location, or duration of membership.
Our Core Community Values
Treat every member with dignity. Behind every profile is a real person with real feelings, hopes, and boundaries.
Present yourself truthfully. Use recent photos, provide accurate personal details, and be upfront about your intentions.
Embrace and honor the diverse backgrounds of our members. Approach cultural differences with curiosity, not judgment.
Protect yourself and others. Report suspicious behavior promptly and never share sensitive personal information too early.
A kind word goes a long way in international dating. Even when declining interest, do so with grace and empathy.
Expected Behavior on Katrinafinder
We encourage all members to follow these positive practices to create the best experience for everyone:
- Be genuine - share your real personality, interests, and relationship goals in your profile and conversations.
- Upload real, recent photos - use clear images of yourself taken within the last 12 months. No stock photos or celebrity images.
- Communicate respectfully - keep conversations polite, appropriate, and considerate at all times.
- Respect cultural differences - ask questions with an open mind and avoid making assumptions about someone's culture or background.
- Accept "no" gracefully - if someone is not interested, respect their decision without pressure or repeated contact.
- Report suspicious activity - if you encounter fake profiles, scam attempts, or harassment, report them immediately using our in-app tools.
- Protect your privacy - avoid sharing financial information, passwords, or home addresses with people you have not met in person.
Prohibited Content and Behavior

- Fake profiles and impersonation - creating accounts with false identities, stolen photos, or misleading information about yourself.
- Harassment and intimidation - sending threatening, abusive, or repeatedly unwanted messages to any member.
- Hate speech and discrimination - derogatory comments based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, or sexual orientation.
- Scam and fraud attempts - requesting money, promoting cryptocurrency schemes, phishing for personal data, or any financial exploitation.
- Explicit or illegal content - sharing pornographic material, soliciting explicit images, or distributing content involving minors.
- Commercial solicitation - using the platform to sell products, promote businesses, or recruit for any service unrelated to genuine dating.
- Impersonation of staff - pretending to be a Katrinafinder moderator, employee, or representative.
- Multiple accounts - maintaining more than one active profile on the platform without prior authorization.
Our Zero-Tolerance Policy on Fraud and Harassment
Katrinafinder maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward fraud, romance scams, and any form of harassment. Our dedicated trust and safety team reviews flagged accounts within 24 hours using a combination of AI-powered detection tools and manual human review.
We actively monitor for suspicious behavioral patterns including rapid-fire messaging to multiple users, requests for financial information, and inconsistencies between profile data and user behavior. IP addresses associated with confirmed fraud are permanently blocked.
In cases involving financial fraud or criminal activity, Katrinafinder cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies in the United States and internationally. We preserve relevant evidence and provide necessary documentation to support investigations that protect our community members.
Respecting Cultural Differences in International Dating
International dating is a wonderful opportunity to learn about and appreciate cultures different from your own. At Katrinafinder, we connect people across 33 Asian countries, each with unique traditions, values, and communication styles. Here is how to approach cross-cultural connections with respect:
- Learn before you assume. Take time to understand basic cultural norms of the country your match is from. A small effort shows genuine interest.
- Ask with curiosity, not judgment. Phrases like "Tell me more about that tradition" open doors, while comparisons like "That's strange" close them.
- Be patient with language barriers. Not everyone communicates fluently in English. Use simple, clear language and be understanding of miscommunications.
- Avoid stereotyping. Every person is an individual. Cultural background informs but does not define who someone is.

Consequences of Violating Our Guidelines
We enforce our community guidelines through a clear escalation process. The severity of the consequence matches the severity and frequency of the violation:
Formal Warning
First-time minor violations result in a written warning with a clear explanation of the rule broken and expected corrective behavior.
Temporary Suspension
Repeated violations or moderate offenses result in account suspension for 7 to 30 days, during which all platform access is revoked.
Permanent Ban
Severe violations - including fraud, harassment, or hate speech - result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform with no option for appeal.
Legal Action
Criminal behavior including financial fraud, identity theft, or threats of violence will be reported to law enforcement authorities for prosecution.
